On June 23rd, Sopela became the epicenter of a creative revolution with the opening of Fússume, a showroom that redefines the boundaries between fashion and art.
Founded by Brazilian entrepreneur Thamyris Andrade, this space has become a meeting point for creative minds and independent brands that seek more than just to sell clothes; they seek to change the world.
From Adversity to Innovation
Thamyris Andrade, known in the industry as a makeup artist and hairstylist, found in adversity the spark to reinvent herself. After suffering an accident that left her with reduced mobility in one leg, she decided it was time to create something new.
"Fússume is a reflection of my effort to stay active and excited in the creative world, despite the circumstances," says Thamyris.
A Sanctuary for Creativity
Fússume goes beyond being a simple showroom; it is a laboratory of ideas where fashion and art intertwine to create something magical. "We want to raise awareness about responsible consumption and the emotional value of each piece," explains Thamyris.

In addition to fashion, Fússume has become an art gallery that changes every five weeks. The first exhibition, 'Pieles' (Skins), by Bilbao artist Natalia Salado, addresses issues such as racism, aesthetics and identity, offering a critical and experimental perspective.

Despite initial criticism for opening such a bold space in Sopela, Thamyris is proud of the impact it has had.
"Many neighbors have come with curiosity and have been surprised to find something so innovative in their locality," he says.
